Women's tennis places four on CSC Academic All-District team

WALTHAM, Mass. -- Seven members of the Brandeis University men's and women's tennis teams have been named to the 2026 Division III Academic All-District teams, as selected by the College Sports Communicators.

To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District honors, a player must be a sophomore or older in eligibility; have played in 67 percent of a team's matches; and carry at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average. Teams are allowed to nominate a maximum of four members.

Representing the Brandeis women's team were:

Junior Chahana Budhbhatti of Ahmedabad, India, with a 3.93 GPA as a mathematics and economics major
Junior Mandy Reyes of Manila, The Philippines, with a 3.70 GPA as a computer science major
Senior Rebecca Suarez of New York, New York, with a 3.69 GPA as a business and psychology double major
And senior Nancy Zhang of Shanghai, China, with a 3.70 GPA as a computer science and music double major.

The Brandeis men were represented by

Junior Pierce Garbett of Coral Gables, Florida, with a 3.81 GPA as a computer science major
Sophomore Daniel Shemesh of Modiin, Israel, with a 3.53 GPA as a mathematics major
And sophomore Aidan Wang-Fan of Richmond Hill, Ontario, with a 3.72 GPA as a business major.
