Additional Resources & Information
Insurance Statement
Anyone attending school in Massachusetts is required by law to have health insurance. Brandeis offers students a Blue Cross Blue Shield Student Insurance Plan (BCBSSHP) which is an excellent plan and will over most medical treatments with a BCBS In-network provider with a minimal cost to the student. This is the recommended insurance for our student athletes. Other insurance options are acceptable but may only cover a portion of the cost and this will require a higher out of pocket payment from the student/parent. We want student athletes and their parents to be aware of their insurance coverage before they come to Brandeis.
