WALTHAM, Mass. -- Five members of Brandeis men's and women's tennis have been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District teams.
 
Honorees on the CSC Academic All-District teams must be at least sophomores in academic standing with a grade-point average of 3.50 or higher. They also must have competed in 90 percent of a team's games or started 67%.
 
The Judges' honorees for this season are:
 
WOMEN'S TENNIS
Cecilia Denis – Senior – Ardmore, Pennsylvania – 3.79 GPA – Film, Television and Interactive Media, and Health: Science, Society, and Policy double major
Bhakti Parwani – Senior – Ahmedabad, India – 3.70 GPA – Business, Economics, Mathematics triple major
Rebecca Suarez – Junior – New York, New York – 3.56 GPA – Business, Psychology double major, journalism minor
Nancy Zhang – Junior – Shanghai, China – 3.79 GPA – Music major, Psychology minor

MEN'S TENNIS
Pierce Garbett – Sophomore – Coral Gables, Florida – 3.77 GPA – Computer Science major
