WALTHAM, Mass. – Brandeis University women's basketball senior
Lulu Ohm of
Waltham, Massachusetts, has been named a first-team All-University Athletic Association selection, while juniors
Abby Kennedy of
Half Moon Bay, California and
Katherine Vaughan of
Bedford, Massachusetts, were named honorable mention, as chosen by the conferences' coaches.
Ohm is the Judges' first All-UAA first-team selection since 2017, while the three Judges recognized by the conference are the most since 2015.
Ohm led the Judges and the UAA in scoring this season, averaging 18.2 points per game. Ohm's 456 points scored were the second-highest in program history, as was her scoring average. Ohm also led the conference with an 85.4% free-throw percentage. She finished 42
nd in Division III in scoring average and 29
th in free throw percentage.
Ohm averaged 15.1 points per game in UAA contests, seventh-best in the league. She also led the Judges with 56 assists and 35 steals, ranking 13
th and 12
th in the conference, while finishing third on the team in rebounding, averaging 4.0 boards per game.
Ohm scored in double digits in all but two games this season, reaching 20 points 11 times and 30 points twice. Her 37 points in the season opener set a new school record for points in game, surpassing a mark set in 2010 by Brandeis's current director of athletics,
Jessica Chapin '10. Ohm was the team's leading scorer 18 times and leading rebounder three times this season.

th on Brandeis's career scoring list with 724 points, 14
th with 80 career 3-pointers and third in career free-throw percentage (82.4%).
Kennedy was Brandeis's second-leading scorer this season, averaging 11.7 points per game, 11
th in the UAA and fourth among teams' second-leading scorers. She scored in double figures 12 times, including three 20-point performances. Kennedy's career-high 25 points came in a UAA contest against Emory on Feb. 16. She led the team in scoring six times, all in conference action. Kennedy also averaged 3.9 rebounds per game and finished with 22 assists, 21 steals and five blocked shots.
Vaughan was the Judges' third-leading scorer, averaging 8.8 points per game, and was one of the top defensive players in the league. She averaged 6.8 rebounds per contest, sixth-most in the conference, and her 3.2 offensive rebounds per game were tied for second. Vaughan was ninth overall in rebounding in UAA games at 6.2 boards per game, and fourth in offensive rebounding at 2.8.
Vaughan also finished third in the league in blocked shots with 46, breaking her own school single-season record in the process. Vaughan ranked 35
th in Division III in blocked shots per game (2.0) and 46
th in total blocks. She was also 122
nd nationally in offensive rebounding. With a full season remaining in her career, Vaughan is already Brandeis's career leader with 97 blocked shots. Vaughan was Brandeis's leading scorer three times this season and their leading rebounder 10 times. She had three double-digit rebounding games, including an 11-point, 10-rebound performance against Carnegie Mellon on Feb. 23.
In head coach
Julie Prichett's first season with the Judges, Brandeis went 12-13, 5-9 in the UAA. It represented a seven-game improvement from last year and a four-game improvement in the conference. The Judges' win total was their highest since 2019-20 and their highest UAA win total since 2015-16.
Ohm is a 2021 graduate of Waltham High School.
Kennedy is a 2022 graduate of Half Moon Bay High School.
Vaughan is a 2022 graduate of Bedford High School.
