WALTHAM, Mass. – Brandeis University men's basketball senior
Toby Harris of
Durham, North Carolina, was named a first-team All-University Athletic Association today, while junior
Elias Rodl of
Berlin, Germany, earned second-team All-Association accolades, as chosen by the conferences' coaches.
Harris was named a first-team All-UAA selection for the second time in his career, having previously been recognized as a sophomore. He is the Judges' first two-time first-team All-UAA member in men's basketball since 2009.
Harris was the Judges' leading scorer this season, averaging 18.8 points per game, fourth-most in the UAA this season. His 19.0 points per game in UAA contests was also fourth-best. Harris scored in double digits in all but two games this season, including 10 20-point games. He scored 28 in a game twice, non-conference contests against Rhode Island College and Middlebury, and had 27 in am 86-79 win over Washington University.
Harris's 65 3-pointers were the second-most in the league and 75
th in Division III, while his 40.4% 3-point percentage was highest among qualifying players and 30
th among all Division III players. His 48.5% field goal percentage was second on the Judges and fifth in the conference, while his 84.7% free-throw percentage was fourth overall.
Harris also finished second on the team in rebounding, averaging 5.5 boards per game, 13
th-best in the league. He also had 45 assists, 16 steals and eight blocked shots.
Harris ends his Brandeis career with 1,132 points, becoming the 36
th player in school history to reach the milestone and finishing 22
nd on the all-time list despite missing much of his junior season to injury. His 15.2 points-per-game average is 15
th all-time among players who have played in at least 50 games for the Judges. His 173 3-pointers are eighth all-time, while his 40.8% 3-point percentage is ninth and his 82.5% free-throw percentage ranks seventh.
Rodl, a transfer from Division II St. Anselm College, was the Judges' second-leading scorer this season, averaging 16.7 points per game, good for sixth in the UAA. He was also sixth in scoring in UAA contests, averaging 18.5 points per game. Rodl led the league in field goal percentage, hitting 57.0% overall for the season and 55.8% in UAA contests. Hid 57.0% from the floor was 35
th in all of Division III and was the 15
th-best season in school history. While he finished just short of the minimum number of 3-pointers made to qualify for national rankings, Rodl's 49.1% from beyond the arc was the fourth-best season in school history.
Rodl scored at least 10 points in 22 of his 24 games this season, with five 20-point performances. He scored 27 in a game three times – in non-conference action against Framingham State, and twice against league rival Emory. In the win over FSU, he shot 10-for-12 from the field and 6-of-8 from 3-point range as the Judges hit a school-record 25 trifectas, tied for the highest single game in Division III this season.
Rodl averaged 5.0 rebounds per game, third on the squad, and had 38 assists, 13 steals and two blocked shots.

th season with the Judges, Brandeis finished the 2024-25 season with a 14-11 record, 5-9 in the UAA, good for fifth place. The Judges were among the national Division III leaders in 3-pointers per game (10.8, 13
th ); 3-point percentage (38.0%, 15
th); assists per game (17.8, 13
th); assist-to-turnover ratio (1.52, 14
th); and field goal percentage (48.0%, 19
th).
Harris is a 2021 graduate of Durham Academy.
Rodl is a 2022 graduate of Schulund Leistungssportzentrum Berlin.
