Brandeis University men's basketball graduate Toby Harris '25 has signed a contract to play in the NBA's Summer League with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Harris graduated from Brandeis as a D3Hoops.com All-American. He ended his Brandeis career with 1,132 points, finishing 22nd on the all-time list despite missing much of his junior season to injury. His 15.2 points-per-game average is 15th all-time among players who have played in at least 50 games for the Judges. His 173 3-pointers are eighth all-time, while his 40.8% 3-point percentage is ninth and his 82.5% free-throw percentage ranks eighth.
Harris spent the 2025-26 season as a graduate transfer at Division I Iona University. He started 12 of the Gaels' 32 games, and finished third on the squad in scoring, averaging 11.2 points per game. Harris led the squad with 90 3-pointers while shooting at a 41.1% clip from behind the arc, second in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) and 31st among all Division I players. His 90 3-pointers were fourth in the league and 63rd in Division I, while his 2.81 trifectas per game were fifth and 58th, respectively.
Harris is the first Brandeis player to play professionally in North America since Steve DeLuca '09/'10 played in the Canadian Basketball League.
The NBA Summer League takes place from July 9 to 19 in Las Vegas. All four of the team's games will be available on Amazon Prime or ESPN.
