Softball places five on CSC Academic All-District team

WALTHAM, Mass. -- Five members of the Brandeis University softball team have been named to the 2026 Division III Academic All-District teams, as selected by the College Sports Communicators.

To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District honors, a player must be a sophomore or older in eligibility; have played in 90 percent or started 67 percent of a team's games as a hitter, or pitched at least 35 innings or appeared in 50 percent of a team's games as a pitcher; and carry at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average. Teams are allowed to nominate a maximum of five members.

Representing the Judges were:

Senior outfielder Maddie Manes of San Clemente, California, with a 3.98 GPA as a psychology and Health: Science, Society, and Policy double major
Senior outfielder Erin Hunt of Wake Forest, North Carolina, with a 3.97 GPA as a sociology and Health: Science, Society, and Policy double major
Junior 1B Brooke Boehmer of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with a 3.69 GPA as a biology and neuroscience double major
Junior 2B Katie Baydian of Massapequa, New York, with a 3.76 GPA as a business major
And sophomore 3B Jordan Wallace of Howell, New Jersey, with a 3.82 GPA as a business major.
