WALTHAM, Mass. –Brandeis University softball junior 1B
Brooke Boehmer of
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, has been selected as third-team All-Region II selection by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association for the second year in row.
Boehmer, who previously earned first-team All-University Athletic Association honors, led the Judges and finished sixth in the UAA with a .402 batting average. She also tied for the team lead and second in the league with 45 runs scored, ranking 60
th in Division III. Boehmer's .535 on-base percentage was also second in the UAA, thanks to her league-leading 27 walks, while her .589 slugging percentage was ninth, giving her a team-best 1.124 OPS that ranked fourth in the conference. Boehmer had eight doubles, two triples and three home runs. She had a team-long 14-game hitting streak this season and a 22-game on-base streak this season. Boehmer hit .364 with three doubles, a triple and a home run in UAA play, scoring 20 runs and driving in eight. This is her first career All-Region selection.
The Brandeis University softball team finished their 2026 season with a 21-19 record, 8-10 in the UAA, placing fourth in the conference standings behind three NCAA Tournament qualifiers.
Boehmer is a 2023 graduate of Mount Lebanon High School.
