WALTHAM, Mass. – The Brandeis University swimming and diving teams closed out their regular season on a high note Saturday evening, sweeping both the men's and women's meets against visiting Regis College. The women's team earned a 121-86 victory, while the men edged out the Pride by a score of 88-81.

• Brandeis: Men, 5-6; women, 4-9.

TOP PERFORMERS – MEN

• The men's side was highlighted by several dominant individual performances and relay sweeps.
• Senior Sam Bundy (Charlotte, N.C. / Ardrey Kell) led the Judges with three individual victories. He captured the 1000-yard freestyle in 10:29.69, the 200-yard individual medley in 2:06.57, and the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:04.90.
• First-year Santiago Salazar (Houston, Texas / James E. Taylor) recorded the fastest times in both of his individual events. He won the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:20.96 and posted the meet's fastest 500-yard freestyle time of 5:08.11.
• Senior Benjamin Lee (Upton, Mass. / Nipmuc Regional) secured a win in the 200-yard freestyle, touching the wall in 1:48.33.
• Senior Eric Xiao (College Station, Texas / AM Consolidated) claimed the 50-yard freestyle in 22.59 seconds, while sophomore Peter Mou (Chestnut Hill, Mass. / Brimmer and May School) took the 100-yard freestyle in 49.40 seconds.
• Junior Riley Pasicaran (Kennewick, Wash. / Hanford) won the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:02.29.
• The Judges swept the relays, with the 200-yard medley team of Pasicaran, Salazar, Mou, and junior Luke Abrahamson (Lincoln, R.I./Lincoln) winning in 1:41.11, and the 200-yard freestyle relay team of seniors Xiao, Lee, AJ Martinez (North Miami Beach, Fla./NSU University School), and Solomon Skelton-Harris (Golden Valley, Minn./Robbinsdale Armstrong) posting the top time of 1:32.84.

TOP PERFORMERS – WOMEN

• Brandeis seniors and distance specialists paved the way for the women's team victory.
• First-year Sasha Tsizer (Framingham, Mass. / Framingham) dominated the distance lanes, winning both the 1000-yard freestyle (12:07.98) and the 500-yard freestyle (6:00.01).
• Senior Jenna Wild (Evanston, Ill. / Evanston Township) was the top finisher in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 25.91 seconds and added a runner-up finish in the 100-yard freestyle (56.60).
• Senior Becca Kaplan (Fairfax, Va. / Robinson Secondary School) took first place in the 200-yard individual medley in 2:23.50.
• Senior Sophia Denaro (Rockville, Md./Holton-Arms) won the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:40.02.
• Senior D'Arcy Anselmi (Pearl River, N.Y./Pearl River) captured the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:24.35.
• Sophomore Lauren Balfour (Madison, Miss./Pine Crest) recorded the fastest time of the meet in the 200-yard butterfly as an exhibition entrant, finishing in 2:32.40.
• The Judges' 200-yard medley relay of seniors Anselmi, Audrey Teo (Palo Alto, Calif./Palo Alto), Kaplan, and Wild won in 2:00.49. The same quartet also produced the fastest time in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:49.65).
