CHICAGO, Ill. – The Brandeis University swimming and diving teams wrapped up their 2026 campaigns tonight at the University Athletic Association championships. Both Judges teams finished in eighth place, with the women scoring 349 points and the men tallying 345.
In today's action, the Judges saw four individual competitors score points.
Senior
Sam Bundy (Charlotte, N.C./Ardrey Kell) saved his best race for the final race of his collegiate career, placing 18
th in the 1,650-yard freestyle. His time of 16:37.52 was seven seconds faster than his season-best but five seconds off his personal best. Bundy finished five seconds behind a swimmer from Rochester and five seconds ahead of an opponent from Case Western Reserve.
In the women's mile, first-year
Sasha Tsizer (Framingham, Mass./Framingham) scored with a 23
rd-place finish in a time of 19:37.37. Tsizer also took seven seconds off her collegiate-best time.
First-year diver
Ivana Marinkovic (Malden, Mass./Malden) tied for the women's team's highest finish of the meet, placing 19
th in the 3-meter event with a score of 250.35 points. It was her first full competition at 3-meters this season.
On the men's side, junior
Riley Pasicaran (Kennewick, Wash./Hanford) finished 22
nd in the 200-yard backstroke. He swam a time of 1:57.16 in the prelims to claim the final spot in the 'C' final, then took a quarter of a second off his time in the finals to swim 1:56.91, improving by two places in the process. Pasicaran was about half a second off his personal best in the event.
In the Judges' final relays of the meet, the 400-yard freestyle, the women saw seniors
Jenna Wild (Evanston, Ill. / Evanston Township),
D'Arcy Anselmi (Pearl River, N.Y. / Pearl River),
Audrey Teo (Palo Alto, Calif. / Palo Alto) and
Rebecca Kaplan (Fairfax, Va. / Robinson Secondary School) posted a time of 3:46.80, while the men had seniors
Benjamin Lee (Upton, Mass. / Nipmuc Regional),
Eric Xiao (College Station, Tex. / AM Consolidated),
Solomon Skelton-Harris (Golden Valley, Minn. / Robbinsdale Armstrong) and sophomore
Peter Mou (Chestnut Hill, Mass./Brimmer and May School) swim 3:08.67. Both squads finished in eighth place.
