Men's track sets 4x200 relay record at Reggie Poyau Memorial

WALTHAM, Mass. – The Brandeis University track and field teams earned wins in five different events – four from the women, one from the men – and the Judges set one school record today at the 2025 Reggie Poyau '04 Memorial Invitational in the Gosman Athletic Center. The women finished second of 10 teams in the team standings, while the men came in fourth of 10.

MEN'S 4x200 SETS SCHOOL RECORD
  • The Judges' school record was set in the 4x200-meter relay. The team of junior Matthew Yue (Vancouver, B.C./Woodside Priory School), senior Danny Krigman (Chelmsford, Mass./Chelmsford), senior Jordon Colon (Devens, Mass./Bromfield Acad.), and sophomore Jon Klu (East Stroudsburg, Pa./East Stroudsburg South) ran a time of 1:35.81, besting the record set in 2016 by 0.47 seconds.
  • The squad finished in fourth place in their heat and sixth overall.
FIVE WINNING PERFORMANCES
  • The Judges earned three wins in field events that were among the top 20 in Division III, and two more on the track.
  • Leading the way in the field was first-year jumper Sarai Sealy (New York, N.Y./The Ursuline School), who won the triple jump in her first collegiate meet with a distance of 11.97 meters (39 feet, 3 ¼ inches). The distance is the second-longest in Division III this season.
  • Junior captain Alisha Anderson (Denver, Colo./Ralston Valley) also earned a top-20 performance in the pole vault, winning with a p.r. height of 3.55 meters (11 feet, 7 ¾ inches), ranking her 12th in Division III. • Junior transfer Aiana Colas (Strasbourg, France/Le Gymnase Jean Sturm) captured the high jump with a height of 1.61 meters (5 feet, 3 ¼ inches), which is good for 14th in Division III this season.

The team comprised of Sealy, junior Shaniece Nugent (Hartford, Conn./Lawrence Academy), first-year Jasmin Berganza (Providence, R.I./Classical) and senior Hannah Bohbot-Dridi (Mountain View, Calif./Los Altos). They were five-hundredths of a second shy of the school record set in 2004.
