Track and field teams land 12 on CSC Academic All-District squads

WALTHAM, Mass. -- Twelve members of the Brandeis University men's and women's track and cross country teams have been named to the 2026 Division III Academic All-District teams, as selected by the College Sports Communicators.

To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District honors, an athlete must be a sophomore or older in eligibility; be ranked among the top 50 in the region in an event in the final TFRRS.org rankings or finish among the top 50 at the NCAA Cross Country Regional championships; and carry at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average. Schools are allowed to nominate a maximum of six members per team.

Representing the Brandeis women were:
  • Recent graduate Alisha Anderson of Denver, Colorado, with a 3.96 GPA as biology and neuroscience double major;
  • Rising senior Sadie Harrow of Bangor, Maine, with a 3.74 GPA as an economics and environmental studies double major;
  • Rising senior Natalie Liapis of Plainfield, Illinois, with a 3.83 GPA as a politics and creative writing double major;
  • Recent graduate Emma Liu of Taipei, Taiwan, with a 3.64 GPA as an neuroscience B.S./M.S. student;
  • Graduate student Shae Regan of Littleton, Massachusetts, with a 3.86 GPA as molecular and cell biology master's candidate;
  • And recent graduate Ella Warkentine of Berwyn, Pennsylvania, with a 3.62 GPA as a triple major in East Asian Studies, International and Global Studies, and psychology.
Representing the Brandeis men were:
  • Rising junior Parker Cook of Old Saybrook, Connecticut, with a 3.79 GPA as a double major in biology and chemistry;
  • Rising senior Sam Krause of New Orleans, Louisiana, with a 3.63 GPA as a history major;
  • Recent graduate TJ Showstead of Plymouth, Massachusetts, with a 3.81 GPA as a chemistry major;
  • Rising junior Eli Wawersik of Westborough, Massachusetts, with a 3.69 GPA as a mathematics major;
  • Recent graduate Matthew Yue of Vancouver, British Columbia, with a 3.88 GPA as an applied mathematics and computer science double major;
  • And recent graduate Dylan Zhao of Staten Island, New York, with a 3.90 GPA as an applied mathematics and economics double major.
