Jenesky, Mizraji earn promotions

WALTHAM, Mass. -- Long-time support staff members Derek Jenesky and Julie Mizraji have been promoted to Assistant Athletic Director positions, director of athletics Jessica Chapin '10 announced today.

Jenesky, in his eighth year at Brandeis, will take over the role of Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities and Game Day Operations. He had previously been promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for Club Sports and Game Day Operations in 2024. Jenesky will oversee the Judges' event management, facilities infrastructure, and continued oversight of the department's Club Sport and Recreation programs.

Mizraji, who is in her 12th year at the University, will now have the title of Assistant Athletic Director for Internal Operations. She will direct the department's scheduling of intercollegiate contests and team practices; staffing of the Gosman Athletic Center's front desk and building managers; rental contracts and billing to external vendors of the facilities; and will remain responsible for overseeing the department's Intramural program.

"As we continue enhancing the operations of Brandeis University Athletics, I am grateful for the leadership, commitment, and outstanding work Julie and Derek provide each day," Chapin said. "Their expanded responsibilities reflect the value they bring to our department and the important role they play in supporting our student-athletes, staff, and overall department operations."

Brandeis will be conducting a national search for a Recreation Administrator to take over Club Sports and Intramural duties in the 2026-27 academic year.
