WALTHAM, Mass. -- Brandeis University has named Will Sullivan as its new event management administrator, starting on November 2, 2026.
In a newly-created position, Sullivan will serve as the event manager for all Brandeis Athletics home contests, as well as oversee the University's pool operations and lifeguarding staff.Â
"We are very excited to have Will join our operations and event management team," said Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities and Game Day Operations
Derek Jenesky. "I have no doubt that his experience and energy will provide us with a stabilizing presence and ensure that we continually improve our game day production."Â
Sullivan is a recent graduate of Sacred Heart University, earning his B.S. in sports management in 2025 and his M.B.A. in 2026. While at SHU, Sullivan served as an event management supervisor during his undergraduate career, helping to prepare the Pioneers' athletic venues for their Division I competitions. As a graduate student, he was the graduate assistant to the Deputy Athletic Director. In that role, he helped to oversee the daily operations and facility management for many of Sacred Heart's Division I programs, including their 3,600-seat ice arena, where he recruited, trained and supervised around 40 student employees.
In addition to his experience in the Sacred Heart athletic department, Sullivan worked at the YMCA of the North Shore in Ipswich, Massachusetts, and the Central Connecticut Coast YMCA in Stratford, Connecticut, where he was able to develop his lifeguarding and pool skills. As an undergraduate at SHU, he was involved in the club lacrosse and ultimate frisbee teams and several community service projects, including Best Buddies and as a youth tutor in Bridgeport, Connecticut's Books to Basketball program.
