WALTHAM, Mass. -- Four members of the Brandeis University men's and women's basketball teams were named to the 2026 Division III Academic All-District teams, as selected by the College Sports Communicators.
To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District honors, a player must be a sophomore or older in eligibility; have played in 90 percent or started 67 percent of a team's games; and carry at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average. Teams are allowed to nominate a maximum of four members.
Representing the Brandeis men's basketball team are:
- Senior forward Elias Rodl of Berlin, Germany, with a 3.84 GPA as a business major
- Sophomore forward Ryan Weiss of Hewlett, New York, with a 3.79 GPA as a business major
The Brandeis women were represented by:
- Senior center Katherine Vaughan of Bedford, Massachusetts, with a 3.85 GPA as a psychology major
- Senior forward Maya Williams of Redondo Beach, California, with a 3.62 GPA as a politics major
