- Brandeis responded in the top of the seventh. Sophomore Dylan Yamamura (Newbury Park, Calif. / Newbury Park) doubled to left field to lead off the inning, and first-year Alexa Johnson (La Crescenta, Calif. / Crescenta Valley) entered as a pinch runner.
