Logan's nine saves not enough in loss to #1 WashU in UAA opener

WALTHAM, Mass. – Brandeis University senior goalkeeper Amaya Logan (Jacksonville, Fla./Creekside) made a career-high nine saves, but it wasn't enough as top-ranked Washington University scored once early and three times late to defeat the Judges, 4-0, on Homecoming in the University Athletic Association opener for both teams.

  • WashU got two more goals in the 80th and 85th minutes to open up the margin.
