HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Tartans were in control in this one, outshooting Brandeis 20-1, 9-0 in shots on goal.
  • The hosts got all the scoring they needed in the 29th minute, when Alma Zhong played a ball over the top of the Brandeis defense and Jeeya Patel was able to poke it into the net.
  • The Judges were able to keep CMU off the board again until the final minute of the play, when the hosts took advantage of Brandeis's pressing offense to score with 16 seconds on the clock.
  • Brandeis's lone shot was taken in the second half by first-year Madelyn Aizenberg (Sacramento, Calif./Rio Americano).
