Brandeis University senior men's fencer
Lev BenAvram is taking part in a unique promotion in conjunction with the Maneschevitz Company's Athletic Honors Society called the L'Cheisman, in a search for the top Jewish student-athlete in the NCAA!
Lev is a three-time Division III All-American and one-time NCAA All-Division All-American in saber. He finished eighth at the 2025 NCAA Championships as a junior. Lev also fences internationally for the United States and is ranked sixth nationally in the saber as he continues his quest to qualify for the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles. Lev is seeking to become the third Brandeis graduate to compete in the Summer Olympics, and the second fencer, along with 2008 silver medalist Tim Morehouse '00. Lev, who majors in business, also earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-America honors as a junior.
Among the prizes awarded to the winner of the L'Cheisman will be their face on a limited-edition box of official Manischevitz Matzo. You can vote to help Lev become the winner of the award at
