Boehmer named NFCA third-team All-Region

WALTHAM, Mass. – Brandeis University sophomore Brooke Boehmer of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, has earned third-team All-Region II honors from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.

Boehmer, who plays first base, led the Judges in just about every major offensive category this season. She batted .350 with 41 hits in 117 at-bats. She scored 24 runs and had 22 RBI, all tops on the squad. Boehmer led the team with a .496 slugging percentage and .441 on-base percentage. She was second on the team with seven doubles and third with two home runs. She also led the squad with two triples.

Boehmer was the only player to play in all 39 games for the Judges this season, hitting safely in 29 of them and reaching base safely in all but four. She had an 11-game hitting streak to start the season and 10 multi-hit games during the season. She drove in three runs twice, in a 10-2 win over UMass Dartmouth and in an 11-11 tie with Wellesley when her two-run single in the fifth tied the game just before it was called due to darkness.

Boehmer will return for her junior season as a career .301 hitter with 34 RBI, 44 runs scored, 13 doubles, four triples and three home runs.

Boehmer is a 2023 graduate of Mount Lebanon High School.
