WALTHAM, Mass. – The #12-ranked Brandeis University men's soccer team thrilled the Homecoming crowd at Gordon Field on Saturday afternoon, earning a 1–1 draw with undefeated #2 Emory University in a UAA matchup, scoring the equalizer with just 20.9 seconds left in regulation.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Emory struck first in the 21st minute when Lorenzo Avalos lifted a long pass from Ignacio Cubeddu over the Brandeis goalkeeper to make it 1–0.
- The Judges continued to push for a tying goal and were rewarded in the closing moments.
- With just 20.9 seconds left in regulation, junior Keller Chamovitz (Sewickly, Pa./Quaker Valley) buried a low shot into the back of the net, tying the match 1–1 off an assist from junior Maddox Yu (Ridgefield, Conn./Ridgefield).
- The late goal sent the Homecoming crowd into celebration as Brandeis salvaged a key UAA point.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Chamovitz's tally marked his second goal of the season, while Yu picked up his second assist of the year.
- Senior goalkeeper Tyler Correnti (West Newbury, Mass./Pentucket Regional) faced a season-high 21 shots, making seven saves and allowing just one goal.
- Brandeis has historically performed well on home turf against Emory, holding a 10–6–2 record in Waltham matchups.
- The result extended the Judges' unbeaten streak at home to seven games, dating back to last season.
