HOW IT HAPPENED
- MIT controlled play in the first set, outshooting Brandeis, 7-1, and winning seven corner kicks to none for the visitors.
- It was Raju who had the game's only shot on goal in the first 45 minutes, forcing MIT's Cassidy Jennings to make a save in the 32nd minute.
- MIT took the first three shots of the second half, including one on goal from Sean Luk that forced grad transfer Rachel Ross (Portchester, N.Y./Somers) to make her first save of the game just 46 seconds in.
- In the 55th minute, it was Raju who finally broke the ice. She took a free ball and raced past the Engineer defense to shoot into the lower far corner of the goal.
- The tally was Raju's sixth of the season and extended her point-scoring streak to five.
- MIT peppered Ross with the next eight shots of the game, forcing her to make three saves, before finally breaking through in the 80th minute. Meagan Rowlett served a ball to the far side of the net that Emiko Pope dove to redirect into the net. It was her second goal of the season.
- The Engineers found the game-winner just under three minutes later, with Rowlett picking up another assist. She drove towards the net, drawing the keeper out, and then dropped the ball off for Natalie Barnouw, who buried her third goal of the season.
- The Judges were unable to find possession in the final seven minutes to  get an equalizer.
- Ross finished the game with four saves in goal for Brandeis, while Jennings had two stops for MIT.
