Tanvi Raju (Hyderabad, India/Indus International School) score a career-high five points with two goals and an assist as the Judges cruised past host Fitcburg State, 7-0, in the opening game of the season for both teams.

How It Happened
- Brandeis opened the scoring at the 15:12 mark of the first half when first-year Peterly Leroy (Malden, Mass./Prospect Hill Academy Charter School) settled a feed from sophomore Raju and found the back of the net for her first collegiate score for the 1-0 edge.
- The Judges doubled the lead to 2-0 in the 27th minute of action as sophomore Zareena Mann (San Ramon, Calif./California) headed home a feed from senior Rachel Watler (Stevenson Ranch, Calif./West Ranch) for her first tally of the campaign and her career.
- Brandeis extended the lead to 3-0 two minutes later with Raju gathering a pass from first-year Laurene Creteau (Madison, N.J./Madison) for her first goal of the season. The visitors pushed the advantage to 4-0 with five minutes remaining in the frame as sophomore Selena Santiago (Wadsworth, Calif./Walsh Jesuit) tucked a shot inside the near post for her first marker on the year off a corner from senior Dominique Paglia (Westford, Mass./Westford Acad.) to make the score 4-0.
- Following the break, Brandeis secured the victory as Leroy and Raju notched their second tallies on the year in the span of two minutes, before Creteau capped the scoring for the Judges with her first marker on the season with an assist from Watler, resulting in the 7-0 final.
