NEW YORK, NY — The Judges traveled down to New York City this weekend for UAA championships at The Armory, hosted by NYU. Day 1 saw many PRs, with multiple Judges placing in the top 8 and qualifying them for finals on day 2.
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

Senior Alya Campbell (Eastchester, N.Y. / Eastchester) ran 9.29 seconds in the 60 meter hurdles, giving her a season best and #87 in DIII for this season. She placed 7th, qualifying her for finals tomorrow.

Junior Hannah Bohbot-Dridi (Mountain View, Calif. Los Altos High School) earned a 400 PR of 59.55 seconds, placing her in 6th and qualifying her for finals tomorrow. Senior Elizabeth Korn (Piedmont, Calif./Piedmont) ran a season best of 60.49 seconds for 9th place, followed by first-year Natalie Liapis (Plainfield, Ill. / Plainfield North) with a PR of 64 seconds for 14th.

Sophomore Alisha Anderson (Denver, Colo. / Ralston Valley) earned a pole vault PR of 3.36 meters for 8th place.

Senior Alya Campbell ran a season best 200 of 26.44 seconds for 9th and sophomore Shaniece Nugent (Hartford, Conn./Lawrence Academy) ran a PR 26.82 for 12th.

First-Year Shayna Zavell ran a PR 5k of 20:05.

Sophomore Emma Liu (Taipei, Taiwan / Phillips Exeter Academy) placed 10th in weight throw with her throw of 12.92 meters.

Senior Smiley Huynh (Bronx, N.Y. Bronx/c H.S. of Science) jumped a 5.17 meter long jump PR for 10th place. Junior Kirsten Man (Kendall Park, N.J. / South Brunswick) also jumped a PR of 4.93 meters.

Sophomore TJ Carleo (Newburyport, Mass. / Newburyport) ran a 1:52 800 for 6th place, qualifying him for finals tomorrow and, sophomore Garret Rieden (Littleton, Mass. / Littleton) ran yet another 800 PR of 1:54, putting him in 9th place. Senior Samuel Kim (La Jolla, Calif. / Phillips Exeter N.H.) ran 1:55 for 13th place, a season best.

Senior Henry Nguyen (Worcester, Mass. / Worcester Vocational Tech) ran an 11 second PR in the 5k with a time of 15:31.

Senior Ori Slotky (Closter, N.J. / Northern Valley Regional) (52.90 seconds) and Deandrea Williams (Glastonbury, Conn. / Glastonbury) (53.05 seconds) earned PRs in the 400 for 13th and 14th, with Senior Young Wang (Hopkinton, Mass. Hopkinton) following in 15th with 54.91 for a season best.

Sophomore Matthew Yue (Vancouver, B.C./Woodside Priory School) earned a PR in long jump of 6.34 meters for 14th place.
