WORCESTER, Mass. – The Brandeis University swimming and diving teams got nine top-five finishes tonight in a series of dual meets at WPI against the host Engineers, Babson College, the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and Smith College on the women's side.

TOP PERFORMANCES
- Women's senior captain Chloe Gonzalez (Miami Beach, Fla./Miami Beach Senior) paced the Judges for the second week in a row. She was a two-time winner on the evening, taking the 100-yard freestyle in 54.33 seconds and 200 free in 1:58.64. Gonzalez won the 100 by more than a second and the 200 by half a second. She also finished third in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:00.88.
- Senior Anastasia Bekou (Limassol, Cyprus/Laniteio Lyceum) also reached the top five for the Judges, taking fourth place with a time of 1:01.65.
- On the men's side, it was first-year Peter Mou (Chestnut Hill, Mass./Brimmer and May School) with the team's best performances with a second and a third. He was runner-up in the 50 free with a time of 21.70 seconds, 0.46 seconds out of the top spot. Mou missed an additional second-place finish by just four-hundredths of a second in the 100 free, where he turned in a time of 47.79 seconds to place third.
- Junior Eric Mou (College Station, Texas/AM Consolidated) also reached the top five in the 50 with a time of 22.17 seconds.
- Junior Benjamin Lee (Upton, Mass./Nipmuc Regional) took third in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:47.45, while classmate Sam Bundy (Charlotte, N.C./Ardrey Kell) was third in the 1000 with a time of 10:31.28.
