WALTHAM, Mass. – The Brandeis University Swimming and Diving teams host Keene State and Bridgewater State in a double dual meet today on Senior Day. The women swept their opponents, winning 158-128 over BSU and 153-137 over KSC. The men defeated the Owls, 158-117, but fell to the Bears, 139.5-117.5.

SENIOR DAY PERFORMANCES
- At the start of the meet, the Judges honored their five seniors competing in their final meets, and the quintet went on to have a terrific day.
- In his second meet of the season after missing much of the first semester due to injury, Sam Dienstag (Wilmette, Ill./Wilmette) came back in fine form, winning the 1,650 freestyle in 15:57.96 and the 500 in 4:47.65. His time in the mile ranks 17th in Division III.
- Ryan Schulken (Waxhaw, N.C. / Marvin Ridge) had a second-, third-, and fourth-place finish in his events in his final meet. He was second in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:05.65, third in the 50 free with a mark of 23.29 seconds, and fourth in the 50 fly with a time of 26.05 seconds.
- On the women's side, Monica Iizuka (Chatham, N.J. / Chatham) came in first in two individual events. She captured the 50 free in 25.62 seconds and the 100 backstroke in 1:00.53.
- Maya Haubrich (Grayslake, Ill. / Grayslake) was runner-up in the 50 free to her classmate with a time of 26.91 seconds and third in the 50 back with a mark of 29.79 seconds.
- Lexi Kaufman (Dix Hills, N.Y. / Half Hollow Hills East) was third in the 50 free in 27.13 seconds and fourth in the 100 free in 1:00.83.
- The seniors also contributed to winning relays, teaming with sophomore Audrey Teo (Palo Alto, Calif. / Palo Alto) to capture the 200 medley relay in 1:55.27 and with sophomore Jenna Wild (Evanston, Ill. / Evanston Township) to win the 200 free relay in 1:47.44.
OTHER WINNERS
- The Judges had nine additional winners on the afternoon. Sophomore Becca Kaplan (Fairfax, Va. / Robinson Secondary School) captured the women's 1650 free in 19:25.06 and the 50 breaststroke in 34.02.
- Junior Chloe Gonzalez (Miami Beach, Fla. / Miami Beach Senior) won the 200 freestyle in 1:58.73, by more than 11 seconds, while also taking the 500 free in 5:25.20 and the 50 butterfly in 26.94 seconds.
- Classmate Benjamin Lee (Upton, Mass. / Nipmuc Regional) won the 200 free on the men's side in 1:48.80. He also captured the 100 individual medley in 56.65 seconds.
- Junior Anastasia Bekou (Limassol, Cyprus / Laniteio Lyceum) won the 100 butterfly in 1:04.83, while Wild won the 100 free in 58.53 seconds.
- First-year Riley Pasicaran (Kennewick, Wash. / Hanford) joined Lee as a men's winner, taking the 100 backstroke in 56.42 seconds.
