WALTHAM, Mass. – The Brandeis University women's swimming and diving team got three individual wins from a pair of swimmers tonight as the Judges dropped a 104-61 decision in a spring meet against Division I Stonehill College.

• Brandeis: 1-8.
• Stonehill: 2-4.

TOP PERFORMERS

• Junior Chloe Gonzalez (Miami Beach, Fla./Miami Beach Senior) was the lone double winner for the Judges. She took the longest race of the night, the 200-yard freestyle, with a time of 1:58.75, four full seconds ahead of her closest competitor from Stonehill.
• Gonzalez also won the 50 free with a time of 25.52 seconds, winning by 1.04 seconds.
• Gonzalez also finished second in the 50 butterfly by 0.46 seconds, posting a time of 27.38 seconds.
• Senior Monica Iizuka (Chatham, N.J./Chatham) also picked up a win in the 50 backstroke, edging her opponent from the Skyhawks by 0.41 seconds with a time of 27.08 seconds. Junior Anastasia Bekou (Limassol, Cyprus/Laniteio Lyceum) was third in the event with a time of 28.03 seconds.
• Iizuka was also the Judges' second finisher in the 200 free, placing third in 2:04.74.
• Bekou also turned in a third-place finish in the 100-yard individual medley with a time of 1:03.21.
• The Judges were edged in both standard relays, with Bekou, Gonzalez and Iizuka being joined by sophomore Becca Kaplan (Fairfax, Va./Robinson Secondary School) in the 200 medley with a time of 1:50.40, 0.24 seconds off the pace.
• In the 200 free relay, sophomore D'Arcy Anselmi (Pearl River, N.Y./Pearl River) swam the lead leg with Bekou, Gonzalez and Iizuka to finish second by just 0.17 seconds, posting a mark of 1:40.41.
