MEDFORD, Mass. – Brandeis junior
Caitlin Gresko (Howell, N.J./Howell) registered her fourth career 20-point game, but the host Tufts women's basketball team outscored the Judges, 28-8, in the third period to take am 81-66 non-conference victory today.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Judges and Jumbos were close after one period, with Brandeis trailing by a 17-16 score after 10 minutes. Brandeis stayed close by hitting four of their 12 3-pointers.
- Brandeis took a brief 20-19 lead early in the second, but the Jumbos bounced back with a 3-pointer and never trailed again.
- It was still a two-possession game at halftime, 36-31, after Brandeis scored the last two buckets of the stanza.
- Tufts put things away in the third quarter when they outscored the Judges, 28-8. The Jumbos hit 9-of-19 from the field (47.4%), including 4 of their 7 3-pointers, while the Judges made just three of their 17 attempts (17.6%), including 0-for-7 from downtown.
- The score was close in the fourth, 24-22, in favor of the home team, but Brandeis could not overcome the 25-point deficit.

- Brandeis was paced by Gresko, who came up just two points shy of her career-high with 20 points to reach the 20-point plateau for the fourth time. She was also the game-high scorer.

- Junior Lulu Ohm (Waltham, Mass./Waltham) had seven points, while Marrella and sophomore Katherine Vaughan (Bedford, Mass./Bedford) had six each.
- Tufts put three players in double digits in scoring, with Samantha Sousa scoring 15 points, while Maggie Russell had 14 and Annika Decker had 12.
- The Jumbos outrebounded Brandeis, 47-36, and had a 50% to 33% advantage in shooting percentage.
