WALTHAM, Mass. – The visiting Bentley University Falcons picked up a pair of wins over their cross-town rivals tonight, defeating the Brandeis University Judges in a pair of swim meets in Linsey Pool. The Bentley men won, 195-85, while the women were 174-117 victors.

- Brandeis: Women, 1-5; Men, 1-4.
- Bentley: Women, 3-1; Men, 4-0.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Brandeis won six of the 32 events, while Bentley took 26.
- Four of the six wins were claimed by the women, while the men took two victories.
- Individually, Brandeis's winners were
- Senior Monica Iizuka (Chatham, N.J./Chatham), who claimed the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:00.87, edging junior teammate Anastasia Bekou (Limassol, Cyprus/Laniteio Lyceum), who finished in 1:01.36.
- Sophomore Benjamin Lee (Upton, Mass./Nipmuc Regional) took the 200-yard freestyle by nearly a second with a time of 1:45.68.
- Sophomore Sam Bundy (Charlotte, N.C./Ardrey Kell) won the 200 butterfly in 2:01.04, a second-and-a-half ahead of his next competitor.
- Junior Chloe Gonzalez (Miami Beach, Fla./Miami Beach Senior) had a full second victory in the 100 freestyle with a time of 54.13 seconds.
- The Brandeis women also took both relays. They opened the meet with a time of 1:51.09 in the 200 medley relay behind the team of Bekou, sophomore Becca Kaplan (Fairfax, Va./Robinson Secondary School), Gonzalez and Iizuka. The Judges led at every split to win by about 1.75 seconds.
- In the 200 free relay, Gonzalez, Bekou and Iizuka were joined by sophomore Jenna Wild (Evanston, Ill./Evanston Township) to turn in a time of 1:42.82, more than three full seconds ahead of the Falcons.
