HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Eagles wasted little time in breaking the ice, scoring just 120 seconds into the contest when Colton Myers converted a cross from Josh Grand.
- Brandeis equalized in the 18th minute, when senior Roee Maor (Demarest, N.J./Northern Valley Regional) took a turnover in the Emory end and banked a shot off the right post and in. It was his third goal of the season and the fourth of his Brandeis career.
- The Eagles netted two more goals in the first half with Jake Atallah scoring in the 28th minute and Nick Carrano in the 40th.
- Turner MacInnis scored in the 63rd minute to give the Eagles a three-goal lead.
- A pair of Brandeis rookie connected in the 70th minute to give the Judges some late life. Midfielder Juan Vera (Weston, Fla./Cypress Bay) released Maddox Yu (Ridgefield, Conn./Ridgefield), who made a run down the left side and unleashed a shot inside the near post. The goal was Yu's first of his career, while the assist was Vera's second.
