On Feb. 22, in a 74-68 defeat against Washington University, he posted a 41-point, 11-rebound performance for his fifth double-double of the season. It was the highest-scoring game by a Judge since 1992 and the second-highest performance in the University Athletic Association this season.. In the process, Rodl exceeded 1000 points for his career, 963 of which have come in just two seasons at Brandeis.

Rodl ranks second in the UAA in scoring this season, averaging 23.4 points per game. He is also third in rebounding (7.6 rebounds per game), second in free-throw percentage (84.5%), third in 3-point percentage (43.1%) and fourth in field goal percentage (51.9%). He also leads the league with 69 3-pointers.

The Judges conclude their regular season on Saturday, February 28, at UAA rival New York University.

Saltz went 4-2 overall for the #32 Judges on their west-coast trip. She earned a 6-4, 6-2, win at #4 singles against Occidental as Brandeis earned a 5-2 win, then took a 5-7, 4-6, defeat against #5 CMS, the team's closest match in a 7-0 loss to the Athenas. In a marathon match against #29 Redlands, Saltz played the clinching match at #5 singles, winning 3-6, 6-4, 7-5, breaking in the final game to clinch the 4-3 victory for the Judges after they had trailed, 3-2. She was 2-1 at #3 doubles as well.

The Brandeis women’s tennis team returns to action on Sunday, March 1, at Division I Quinnipiac Universiy.

This is the tenth year that the Brandeis Athlete of the Week program has been presented by The Chateau Restaurant Group. The Athlete of the Year Program highlights top Brandeis student-athletes who have had an outstanding athletic achievement in the week prior.  Each selected student-athlete will be featured on the Brandeis athletics homepage and inside the Chateau Waltham and Jake n JOES.
