Getting to know Megan...

My major is: Physics

My favorite professor at Brandeis is: Aparna Baskaran in the Physics department, because she doesn't take herself too seriously but makes sure we all understand the math, and is always willing to work with us to find the best way for each student to do well in her class.

My summer job/experience was: I had an internship at a Patent Law firm in my hometown, Minneapolis, and worked weekends at a local bike shop where I've worked for the past 4 summers.

My favorite book is: But What if We're Wrong? Thinking About the Present as if it Were the Past, by Chuck Klostermann, because it basically asks us to step back and try to consider what separates things that are seen as "iconic" from the ones that everyone has forgotten about, whether it was talking about music, sports, science or literature.

My favorite pro or college sports athlete is: Lindsay Whalen, the Minnesota Lynx point guard, because I remember going to watch her play when she was at the University of Minnesota and just feeling inspired by her passion for the game and her work ethic
