My favorite part about competing for Brandeis, other than my teammates, is: the tradition and team environment. Brandeis students strive to embody that tradition all the time.

The most important thing I have learned from Coach Meehan is: It is up to you to make the most of the opportunities you are given.

I chose Brandeis because: The highly competitive academic and athletic environment. Also I really wanted to go to a university where my family would be able to come watch my games.

My favorite professional athlete is, and why: Willie Mays and Roberto Clemente. Growing up my father always told me those were the guys I should strive to emulate on and off the field.

AND MORE: Graduate student joins program as a walk on… Earned B.A. degrees in Business and International and Global Studies and a minor certificate in Legal Studies in 2012… Currently enrolled in Master’s Program in International Economics and Finance in Brandeis’s International Business School… Four-year member of the Brandeis baseball team… Received three Academic All-UAA awards for baseball… Two-year basketball starter for Bellmore John F. Kennedy High School in Merrick, N.Y., helping team to playoff berths in 2007 and 2008.
