Aronson promoted to men's soccer associate head coach

WALTHAM, Mass. -- Entering his third season on the sidelines for the Brandeis men's soccer team, Blake Aronson has been promoted to associate head coach, head coach Gabe Margolis announced today.

"Since Blake's arrival in 2024, he has made a huge impact on Brandeis Men's Soccer," said Margolis. " He is one of the best young coaches in New England, and very deserving of this promotion. Myself, the players, and everyone in our program is lucky to get to work with Blake every day. With this well-deserved promotion, Blake will continue to take an even bigger role in all aspects of our program, from recruiting to day-to-day management and Alumni relations. "

Aronson has helped the Judges to a 19-9-7 record over the past two seasons, a .642 winning percentage. The Judges have posted winning records in both campaigns, including a return to the NCAA Division III tournament in 2025. The team advanced to the second round with a 2-1 win over Stevens and pushed eventual national champions Tufts to double overtime.

Aronson helped seven different Brandeis players earn All-University Athletic Association honors and four who landed on the United Soccer Coaches All-Region II team. The Judges were ranked as high as #5 in the United Soccer Coaches' Division III poll last year, finishing at #18. Brandeis returns seven starters from last season.
