CHICAGO, Ill. – The Brandeis University women's soccer team, ranked 21
st in Division III, suffered a 6-0 defeat today on the road at #7 Chicago in a University Athletic Association contest today.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Maroons were on the front foot in the first half, outshooting the Judges, 9-0.
- The hosts opened the scoring in the 23rd minute on a goal off a corner kick, then doubled their lead in the 37th minute.
- Brandeis's first shot on goal came in the 67th minute off the foot of sophomore Laurene Creteau (Madison, N.J./Madison).
- Chicago blew the game opened midway through the second half, when they scored three goals in a span of less than three minutes, including Lucy Harrison-Caldwell's second of the game in the 73rd minute that started the run.
- The Maroons went on to outshoot the Judges, 20-3, including 10-2 in shots on goal.
- Brandeis sophomore Penny Alston (New York, N.Y./East Side Community) made one save in the first half, while junior Amaya Logan (Jacksonville, Fla./Creekside) had three stops in the second stanza. Chicago's Sophia Sasaki had two saves for the win.
