HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Brandeis opened strong, taking the first set 25–23 behind a balanced attack and key blocks from twin sisters Claudia Aber and Colette Ejang (Los Angeles, Calif./Taft Charter School)
  • Trinity responded with back-to-back set wins, capitalizing on Brandeis errors and strong net play of their own.
  • The Judges forced a fifth set with a 25–20 win in the fourth, fueled by sophomore Madison Haft-Abromovitch's (Stamford, Conn./Rye Country Day School) clutch kills and Kay Menendez's (Madrid, Spain/American School of Madrid) service aces.
  • Trinity closed out the match in the fifth, hitting .240 to Brandeis's .087.
