• Excelled as Brandeis’s first basketball team manager, 1951-55, despite being legally blind
• Went on to successful career as an attorney in construction law
• Received FOBA Goldfader Award of Valor in 1998 and Napoli Distinguished Achievement Award in 2005
• Long-time member of Hall of Fame selection committee
