WALTHAM, Mass. –  Senior Lulu Ohm of Waltham, Massachusetts, and the women’s basketball team and senior Quintin Wrabley of Malvern, Pennsylvania, and  the men’s soccer team, have been named the Brandeis University Athletes of the Week for the week ending  November 10. The Brandeis Athlete of the Week program is presented by The Chateau Restaurant and Jake N Joes Bar and Grill.

Ohm was honored for her performance in the 2024 Brandeis Women’s Basketball Invitational. She averaged 26.5 points, 2.5 rebounds and two assists per game as the Judges defeated Framingham State, 74-58, and fell to George Fox, 58-49. In the win over FSU, Ohm set Brandeis’s single-game scoring record with 37 points, eclipsing a record that had stood since 2010 and was held by the Judges’ new Director of Athletics Jessica Chapin ’10. Ohm hit 14-of-19 from the field and 7-of-8 from 3-point range. Her trifecta with 2:47 left in the game not only set the single-game scoring record but also tied the school record for 3-pointers in game with seven.

Ohm scored 16 points and had four rebounds in the team’s loss to George Fox. Her 37-point performance was the second-highest in Division III on opening weekend, while her 26.5 ppg average was the highest in Division III among players who played multiple games over the first weekend of the season.

The 2-1 Judges, in their first season under head coach Julie Prichett, return to action Saturday afternoon at home against Tufts at 1 p.m.

Wrabley earned UAA Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season and the third time in his career. The Judges’ goalkeeper made five saves against NYU in a 1-0 victory to record his fourth shutout of the season and the eighth of his career. With the win, Brandeis finished with a 9-5-2 record, 5-2-0 in the UAA, good for second place in the conference and their best finish since 2019. The Judges were just one point shy of sharing the 2024 UAA crown.

Wrabley finished the regular season leading the UAA with 68 saves after playing all 1440 minutes between the pipes for the Judges. He finished third in the league in save percentage at .782 and fourth with a 1.18 goals-against average. Wrabley’s four shutouts were tied for second in the league.
