Kaitlin (Carson) Drinkwater

Kaitlin (Carson) Drinkwater was named as the program's second full-time Strength and Conditioning Coach in the summer of 2022.

Drinkwater joined Brandeis after spending the 2021-22 academic year as a Strength and Conditioning Fellow at Tufts University as part of her Master's program in Exercise and Sport Science from Merrimack College in 2022. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of New England in 2019. She interned in the Nor'Easters' strength and conditioning department while receiving her B.S. in Applied Exercise Science with a minor in Coaching.

Drinkwater is an active member of the American College of Sports Medicine and the National Strength and Conditioning Association. She has also earned certifications as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Certified Functional Strength Coach (CFSC)

A native of Melrose, Massachusetts, Drinkwater was a four-year member of the softball team at the University of New England. As a senior, she helped the Nor'Easters reach the Commonwealth Coast Conference tournament finals. Carson was active with UNE's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee during her junior and senior years. She received a UNE Presidential Scholarship and a National Strength and Conditioning Scholarship in 2015.
