My favorite part about competing for Brandeis, other than my teammates, is the incredible opportunities it gives me to grow as both an athlete and a person. From traveling to new places, to competing against high-level opponents, every meet pushes me to challenge my limits. Being part of a program that values both academic and athletic excellence inspires me to give my best every day.

I chose to become a Division III athlete because it allows me to pursue both my academic and athletic goals at a high level without having to sacrifice one for the other. What I like best about Division III is the balance; I can stay committed to my sport while focusing fully on my studies and future career. It’s a competitive environment driven by passion and purpose, not just performance.

My favorite high school/non-Brandeis athletic moment is qualifying for and competing at the French Nationals. It was the result of years of hard work and dedication, and representing my region on a national stage was both an honor and an unforgettable experience. It pushed me to another level mentally and physically, and reminded me how much I love to compete.

My favorite professor at Brandeis is Professor Judith Jackson because she’s not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also genuinely funny and passionate about prenatal care. Her energy made every lecture engaging, and she taught me so much about the importance of early developmental health in a way that really stuck with me.

My dream job is to become a pediatrician because I’m passionate about working with children and helping them grow up healthy and supported. I want to make a meaningful difference in families’ lives by combining medical care with compassion, especially during the most formative years.
