Getting to know Hailey...

• Why did you choose to become a Division III athlete? I love my sport, and I also value balance between my academic and athletic careers.
• My favorite high school athletic moment is fulfilling my varsity swimming dream of gaining my first MIAA medal. 
• My favorite high school class was legal studies, because when I was younger, I was what people would call a “nerd,” and my classmates would marginalize me because of how different I was to them. Taking law classes in high school reminded me that I have the language ability to advocate for not only my rights, but for others who have gone through similar experiences to myself. 
• Outside of my sport, my favorite thing to do is bake
• My dream job is to become a civil rights lawyer because, as a female Asian-American, I have faced various levels of oppression and inequality in my life. 
• My favorite movie of all time is Runaway Jury
• Places on my travel bucket list are the UK, France, and Italy
• My favorite emoji is the cluster of bubbles emoji
