Biography
GETTING TO KNOW LUKE
- In addition to his fencing, competed in four different sports at St. Paul’s School in Maryland – tennis, squash, soccer and track and field
- A two-time USA Fencing First Team All-American and a second-team All-Academic Team selection
- Coached at a non-profit fencing camp in Baltimore
- Favorite high school moment: Winning bronze at the Division 1A National Championships in 2019
- Favorite high school class: English
- Favorite place to travel: The beach with my family
- Dream job: Pediatric oncologist
- COACH SALMON: Luke comes to us with an impressive resume of national success, including a bronze medal at the 2019 Division IA National Championships. He is an extremely hard worker, a technician and very efficient in his use of timing and distance to create both defensive and offensive actions. His rise in the sport has been quite impressive and I expect him to be an impact player throughout the years he competes for our program.

- My favorite athletic moment at Brandeis has been: beating BC at home my sophomore year
- My favorite high school/non-Brandeis athletic moment is: getting 3rd at the Summer Nationals in 2019
- My favorite class at Brandeis is: Abnormal psychology because we were taught how to put the pieces together of various symptoms to figure out what condition a person might be suffering from.
- My favorite high school class/subject was: English because my two favorite teachers were my English teachers.
