Getting to know Parker...
- My favorite part about competing for Brandeis is being a part of something bigger than myself and being able to not only push myself but help other push themselves to be the best we can be.
- My favorite high school athletic moment is when I got to run a 4x4 at states under the lights and we all hit huge PRs on our splits.
- My favorite high school class was Chemistry because of the labs and it being super hands on
- My favorite place to travel to is New HampshireÂ
- My favorite movie of all time is The Princess Bride
- My favorite book is The Sixth Extinction by Elizabeth Kolbert
High School Participation/awards
- Varsity for all three cross country, indoor, and outdoor track all seasons every year. Captain of cross country junior/senior year and captain of both track teams senior year
- First Team Shoreline Conference Cross Country (sophomore, junior, senior), First Place Shoreline Conference Cross Country (senior),1st Team Shoreline Conference Indoor Track (freshman), 2nd Team Shoreline Conference Indoor Track (sophomore-senior), 2nd Team All State Indoor Track (senior), 2nd Team Shoreline Conference Outdoor Track (sophomore-senior), All State-Cross Country (sophomore-senior), All Area Cross Country Team (sophomore, junior), All State Outdoor track (senior), Divisional 1600m State Champion (senior), 5k and indoor 1600 school records
- Freshman Orientation Leader, in my Class Executive Board, Jazz Combo, Jazz Big Band, Basso Choir, Chamber Singers, Ecology Club, Drama Club, Member of National Honors Society and I was the UCONN ECE Ambassador. Some recognitions I received are the Seal of Biliteracy in French,Rensselaer Medal, Bausch + Lomb Honorary Science Award, Shoreline Social Studies Association’s Award for Outstanding Commitment and Achievement in Social Studies, New England Music Festival Qualifier (Bass voice), Certificat D’Honneur Pour Le Grand Concours, School Student of the Month, AP Scholar with Honor, AP Scholar with Distinction, Science Rotary Student of the Month 12th CIAC Scholar-Athlete Award
