Getting to know Sancho … 
  • Played three seasons at UMass Lowell where he recorded 5 goals and 2 assists
  • Sancho played three years of varsity soccer at Lexington High School 
  • During his three years at Lexington High School, Sancho played as a winger/attacker
  • Won the Massachusetts State Championship during his sophomore year where he started every game 
  • Won Middlesex League MVP during his junior year 
  • Participated in the All-Star Game during his junior year 
  • Earned Boston Globe and Boston Herald All-Scholastic honors for his junior year 
  • Captained Lexington during his senior year and led them to the Middlesex League Championship 
  • Earned All-Massachusetts and All-New England honors during his senior year and got nominated for All-American

  • My favorite part about competing for Brandeis is: The intensity of the league, how demanding it can be and the trips that we get to go in.

  • My favorite high school/non-Brandeis athletic moment is: When I won the state championship with my high school team in 2016 
  • My favorite class or professor at Brandeis is: Philipe Wells because of the way he connects with his students and tries to have a conversation instead of a lecture. His stories makes students pay more attention and create a desire to learn more
  • My favorite place on campus, outside of Gosman, is: Upper Farb library meeting rooms
  • Something new I learned during COVID-19: How connected the world is and how things can change in a matter of days
