Getting to know Roee … 

• Played two years of soccer at Fordham University before transferring to Brandeis 

• Won the Atlantic-10 Championship in 2020 with Fordham 

• Participated in the Division I NCAA Tournament 

• Played and started three years of varsity soccer at Northern Valley Regional at Demarest 

• Played as an attacking midfielder for all three seasons in high school 

• Named captain of his high school soccer team for his final two years 

• Helped his high school win the Big North Conference Championship for the first time in 43 years 

• Athletic Honors: 2018 SCANJ First Team All-New Jersey, 2018 First Team All-Bergen County, 2018 Big North Conference MVP, 2018 First Team All-Conference, 3-year high school top goal scorer, TSF Academy 2001 team captain 2016-2019, ranked #4 nationally by gotsoccer.com, three year top goal scorer in high school during 2016-2019

• Non-Athletic Awards: Gabelli School of Business Woolworth Award 2019, Fordham University Dean’s List, A10 Conference Scholar-Athlete 2019-2020 and 2020-2021, High School Class Vice President, 4 Year Honor Roll Student

• Fun Facts: Roee is a business owner and a retail operations associate at Birddogs. 

• Extracurricular Activities: Roee is hoping to participate in the fashion club and choir. He is also looking forward to finding employment on campus

• My favorite part about competing for Brandeis is: being able to put on a jersey that has held significance for decades of Brandeis soccer players. 
• My favorite athletic moment at Brandeis has been: scoring on my Brandeis debut away at Western New England.
• My favorite high school/non-Brandeis athletic moment is: scoring in the Maccabiah finals in 2017 against Brazil in Israel in front of my entire extended family. 
• My favorite class or professor at Brandeis is: Professor Vicente because of how she opened my eyes to the world of communications and taught me skills translatable to all aspects of life. 
• My favorite high school class/subject was: cooking because at the end of class we got to eat the food we made.
• My favorite place on campus, outside of Gosman, is: Dunkin'
• My favorite place to travel to is: Greece.
• My favorite movie of all time is: Borat
• My favorite TV Show is: Suits
• My favorite book is: Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days. 
• My favorite song is: Stolen Dance by Milky Chance
• Performer who would play me in the movie of my life: Jack Black
• My favorite pro or college sports team is: New York Red Bulls because I grew up playing for their youth teams.
• My most memorable professional sports moment is: Aguero, Premier League winning goal.
