Rainer played for the New England Revolution Academy from 2017-2020 and Boston Bolts MLS Next from 2020-2022.
He was named captain for the 2017-2018 and 2021-2022 seasons.

Fun fact: Rainer is an alumnus of Camp Mowglis on Newfound Lake in Hebron, NH.
