The Brandeis Rowing Team practices in the morning out of the Lasell Stoller Boathouse, located a five minute drive away from campus. The Novice program teaches first-time rowers the basics of the sport, while the Varsity program--for returning and experienced rowers--continues to focus on skills development and competitive race results. Both teams are composed of men's and women's squads. Practices take place Monday through Friday in the fall and spring, with races on the weekends. Winter training takes place indoors, typically on the rowing machines
