Bundy leads swimmers at WPI multi-meet

WORCESTER, Mass. -- The Brandeis swimming and diving teams had their second meet of the 2025-26 season tonight at WPI. The Judges faced three other teams on the men's side and four on the women's in a multi-meet. They finished with 11 top-five finishes between the men and women.

TOP PERFORMERS
  • Senior Sam Bundy (Charlotte, N.C./Ardrey Kell) had one of three second-place finishes in an individual event in the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 10:16.44.
  • Classmate Benjamin Lee (Upton, Mass./Nipmuc Regional) was also a runner-up in the 200-yard individual medley with a mark of 1:58.99.
  • First-year Michelle Weissler (Greenwich, Conn./Greenwich) had the team's final second-place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:10.95.
  • Lee added two more top-five finishes, coming in third in the 200 free (2:07.21) and fifth in the 50 free (22.31 seconds).
  • Classmate Eric Xiao (College Station, Texas/AM Consolidated) edged Lee in the 50 free, taking third place in 22.14 seconds.
  • Sophomore Peter Mou (Chestnut Hill, Mass./Brimmer and May) added a third-place finish in the 100 free with a time of 48.15 seconds.
  • Junior Riley Pasicaran (Kennewick, Wash./Hanford) was fourth in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 1:59.73.
  • The Judges' 200 free relay team of seniors AJ Martinez (North Miami Beach, Fla./NSU University School), Solomon Skelton-Harris (Golden Valley, Minn./Robbinsdale Armstrong) and Lee, along with Mou, finished fifth in the 1:30.03.
  • The women had two other top-five placements. Senior Jenna Wild (Evanston, Ill./Evanston Township) was fifth in the 200 free with a mark of 2:07.21.
  • First-year Ivana Marinkovic (Malden, Mass./Malden) made her debut as a diver with a fifth-place finish in the one-meter event with a score of 150.45.

  • The Judges return home and will meet Bentley University on Nov. 7 at 6 p.m.
