WALTHAM, Mass. – The Brandeis University Department of Athletics is proud to announce the six alumni who will be inducted in the 2024 Hall of Fame on September 28^th, 2024, in conjunction with the University's annual Homecoming event. This year's inductees, in order of graduation year, are:

• Harold Small '74, Men's Track and Field and Cross Country – a three-time All-American in the 880-yard run and two-mile relay, including a third-place finish as a junior in the pre-Division III era, while helping the cross country team to 24-straight tri-meet wins;
• Jessica Bergman '91, Contributor – A three-sport athlete at Brandeis, since 2014 has served as president of the Friends of Brandeis Athletics who has helped usher in the current era of Hall of Fame and Homecoming success and will be stepping down at the end of the 2024-25 school year;
• Christopher White '97, Men's Soccer – A two-time captain who was named second-team All-American defender as a senior, helped the Judges reach three-straight ECAC Championship games and 60 wins in four seasons before earning a professional contract;
• Cheryl Makarewicz '99, Women's Track and Field and Cross Country– An 11-time All-American in the 800-meter run and as part of 4x400-meter relays, including national runner-up indoors in the 800 as a senior;
• Tracy Marien '03, Volleyball and Women's Fencing – A versatile two-sport student-athlete who helped the volleyball team to two ECAC tournaments as a defensive specialist and became an All-American in sabre for the fencing team, earning Academic All-America honors in both sports;
• Will Friedman '09, Men's Fencing – the most recent Brandeis men's fencer to qualify for the NCAA Championships four years running, earning All-America honors in foil as a junior, when he placed seventh.
