After earning All-UAA honors, senior Faith Broderick and sophomore Carley Cooke will be headed to the NCAA Division III Doubles championships. They are the second Brandeis duo ever selected to the tournament and first since 2005.
The Judges defeated Rochester, 8-1, and Case, 5-4, to win the consolation bracket at the UAA tournament in Florida. Sophomore All-American Carley Cooke went 6-0 to lead the Judges to a fifth-place finish for the second year in a row.
On the final weekend of the regular season, the Brandeis women's tennis team dropped an 8-1 decision at Bowdoin, but bounced back in senior Faith Broderick's final home match to defeat DI Holy Cross by the same score.
For the second time this season, the Judges fell to the Bantams by a 7-2 score. Carley Cooke avenged an earlier loss at #1 singles, while the #3 team of Bernstein and Lazar won for the second-straight match.
